In accordance with Minnesota State Statues 244.052 and 244.253D, the Howard Lake Police Department is releasing information regarding Connor Hagberg, a level 3 registrant who is subject to public notification. Mr. Hagberg has relocated to the City of Howard Lake. A Community Notification Meeting has been scheduled for 6:00 pm, Thursday September 10th at the Great River Regional Library at 817 8th Ave., Howard Lake. Representatives from the Department of Corrections and the Howard Lake Police Department will be available to provide you with useful information on public safety and answer your questions.

A resident reported that an unlocked vehicle was entered sometime in the last 24 hours and some items were stolen. HLPD would like to remind residents to please lock your vehicles when they are unattended.

This cat showed up outside a resident's door. Very friendly. If you are missing your cat or know the owner please contact HLPD.

Update: We were unable to locate the owner so an officer transported her to Lester Prairie vet clinic. They will check her for a chip and notify the owner if possible.

This pretty girl was found running loose on County Road 30 in Victor TWP. If anyone knows this dog or the owner please contact HLPD. Please share her photo and help us find the owner.
