On Tuesday, October 6, from 10 am to 3 pm, join K-State Extension’s Community Food Systems team and the Cottonwood Extension District for a Food Business Workshop, bringing together the people food entrepreneurs need to know: funders, food safety experts and inspectors, retail and food business resources, and fellow entrepreneurs who are navigating many of the same challenges and opportunities.

It will offer expert conversations around funding, retail access, food safety and training, along with lunch from local Hays food business LB Brewing.

This workshop is for anyone working toward a food-related venture or community food project. Space is limited and registration is $20. Secure your spot here! https://events.k-state.edu/event/foodpreneur-workshop

I encourage all residents to share their favorite business on the Patterson Family Foundation post. Join me in having Sheridan County show up! Marketing is expensive, every small business relies on their community to shout their praise. So let’s see how many residents we can get to comment.

Local Business Highlight!

At Patterson Family Foundation, we talk about local businesses all the time, but now it's your turn.

Tell us about your favorite local business (It could even be your own) that you go to every day, couldn't live without, or that has made an impact on your community.

We would love to hear some amazing stories and spread the word about our local entrepreneurs.
