The toolkit curriculums–created and distributed by Stanford’s REACH Lab Team–are aimed at preventing and reducing cannabis use. The goals of the middle and high school curriculums are for students to understand basic information about cannabis and to***co, gain awareness of deceptive marketing strategies used by manufacturers to lure youth to use, and gain skills to refuse experimentation of drug use. The upper grade curriculums also provide critical lessons explaining adolescent brain development and addiction, positive youth development, and health effects.

All curriculums provide activities, online quiz games, and worksheets in addition to presentations, and resources.

Relationship abuse is not always physical, or it at least does not always start out that way. There are a variety of red flags to look out for both in your partners and in the partners of friends or family that may indicate that the relationship may be or turn abusive. And while these traits may not always indicate abuse, a partner may show as few as 1-2 of these traits and become abusive.

If you or someone you know need support for a domestic violence situation, visit https://www.thehotline.org/ or call 1.800.799.SAFE (7233).

Trusted local experts. Here for our community at every step. 💚

Our work doesn’t stop at prevention. Together, Council for Prevention and Hope & Healing support our community through prevention, intervention, and recovery.

🌱 Prevention — empowering young people, families, schools, and communities with the knowledge and skills to make healthy choices.

🤝 Intervention — providing support, education, connection, and resources when someone is struggling or at risk.

💜 Recovery — creating a welcoming place for individuals and families to find connection, support, resources, and hope along their recovery journey.

We are proud to be local, approachable, and here for the people we serve. We live in these communities, work alongside our schools and families, and are committed to making a difference right here at home.

Prevention. Intervention. Recovery.
One community. One connection at a time. 🌿
