570 Coulee

10/19/2026

We are pleased to introduce another board member, Brooke Petska.

Brooke is proud to call the St. Croix Valley home. Since moving to Hudson in 2001, she has always been actively involved in making Hudson a better place for all.

By day, Brooke serves as a Development Strategist for ISG, an architecture/engineering firm. Through her work with local governments, nonprofits, and community leaders, she focuses on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and supporting initiatives that create lasting impact. Brooke brings a strategic mindset, collaborative approach, and commitment to service.

Outside of work and 570 Coulee, you can find her spending time with her husband, daughter, and their two dogs – enjoying the many activities (usually outdoors) that make life exciting! Brooke is also an avid reader, loves experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and has yet to find a soft serve ice cream cone she could say no to.

To Brooke, 570 is the place. The place where no matter what in society is perceived as making people different proves how similar we all are. We all want to feel like we are a part of something, and 570 is the place. The place to connect. The place to learn. The place to grow. The place to know that you matter

We appreciate Brooke’s insight and determination in bringing 570 Coulee to life!

The story behind The Butterfly Path, Inc., the nonprofit that brought 570 Coulee to life, is a deeply personal one. We hope you’ll take a moment to read how it all began. 🦋

Thanks for coming to check us out at our Open House! How lucky are we to have such a supportive community 💛

Last week I stopped out to 570 Coulee for their open house. 570 Coulee (formerly known as Cracked Barrel Winery) is a beautiful space with a mission of building community through connection and purpose by creating a space for older adults to share wisdom, contribute, and flourish. 🍇

No, I’m not that age group yet, but what a brilliant plan for our community whose largest growing age category is 55-65 years of age.

I actually saw quite a few of my teachers that I had when growing up here in the Hudson school system. I also saw an old classmate, Alicia, she’s on the board!

Take a minute to check out what they have to offer. This week’s schedule has open crafting time, Mah Jong, cards, workshop hours, and a special Oktoberfest! 🍂

Hudson is blessed to have such a vibrant community!

Adventure starts with a little inspiration!

We had a great time at our solo adventure travel class, which was hosted by Karla from Ted Blank Luxury Travel & Adventure. We thank her for sharing her knowledge, travel tips, and inspiration for exploring the world on your own with our members.

Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or just streaming about your first solo adventure, there’s a whole world waiting to be explored .

We’re excited to partner with Kinnickinnic River Land Trust!

You’ll start seeing them pop up on our programming schedule, bringing opportunities to learn, explore, and connect with the natural world around us.

We plan to bring many of the great local organizations in our community to 570 Coulee and create new experiences for our members.

The tables are set, the supplies are ready, and we can't wait to welcome everyone tomorrow!

Our very first class at 570 Coulee is watercolor painting, and it's SOLD OUT! 🎨

Tomorrow these tables will be filled with people learning, creating, and enjoying time together. Exactly what we envisioned for 570 Coulee!

What a week at 570 Coulee! 💚

As Active Aging Week comes to a close, we can't think of a better way to celebrate than what we experienced this past week.

Welcoming so many people through our doors, seeing the smiles, hearing the conversations, and watching new connections begin. It's exactly what we hoped 570 Coulee would be.

And the best part? We're just getting started! Tomorrow, our programming begins, and we couldn't be more excited for what's ahead.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this past week so special. We're still smiling from ear to ear!

Life is better when it's lived together.
