Our History Room offers free research requests and one of our most rewarding times is when we find children who stayed at the Hudson Orphan & Relief Association, thus giving their family members/descendants more information on their lives. This is the title page of our earliest ledger dating from 1875. Thank you Richard Koskey of the Children's Foundation for entrusting these records to our archives.

We're still basking in the afterglow of Music in the Stacks 🥰 The library was buzzing with energy as we celebrated music and traditions that bring our community together! We're so grateful to everyone who helped to make it a special day. We especially want to thank:

⭐ The community members who bring our library to life!
⭐ Jing Shuia, for a beautiful Chinese Tai Chi Sword and Fan performance
⭐ JaguarPunch, for the Kongolese-influenced rhythms
⭐ Veena and Devesh Chandra, for Indian classical music with sitar and tabla
⭐ Pulso de Barro, for vibrant Mexican Jarocho and Cumbia music
⭐ Operation Unite NY, for crafts and refreshments
⭐ Addison Geer, our wonderful host and MC
⭐ Fatama Yesmen Priya and Aliza Mahjabin, for their henna artistry
⭐ Samascott Orchards and BjornQorn, for donating refreshments
