🎉 Exciting News for the Hudson Area Library History Room! 📚🏛️

The Friends of the Hudson Area Library are grateful to the Bank of Greene County Foundation for its generous grant supporting archival work in the History Room.

This funding will help preserve, organize, and make accessible the rich historical materials that tell the story of our community. By investing in archival preservation, the Foundation is helping ensure that local history remains available for researchers, students, and future generations.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Bank of Greene County Foundation for recognizing the importance of safeguarding our shared heritage and supporting the History Room's ongoing mission.

It was wonderful to see both new and familiar faces come together in support of our library and the community we serve. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $3,000 to help support the Hudson Area Library’s programs, resources, and future initiatives.

A huge thank you to Christy from Neverstill for generously donating the space and w**e, and a special thank you to Kristan and Kirby for providing the delicious food that made the evening even more memorable. 🥂📚

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, and helped make the night such a success. We’re grateful for this incredible community of library supporters!

Small acts of kindness can brighten someone’s day ❤️📬

Friends of the Hudson Area Library President William S. Blowers recently dropped off handmade postcards for patients at Columbia Memorial Health.

Created by local children with the help of Ntangou Badila, each card was filled with thoughtful notes, cheerful artwork, and heartfelt care. 🎨💌

We’re so proud to share the creativity and compassion of Hudson’s young people with our community.
