Yesterday, we had a blast spending time with our friends at Hudson Elementary!

Our goal wasn’t just to show them the police cars and cool gear—it was to help them understand that police officers are their friends. We want our youngest community members to feel comfortable coming to us, asking questions, and knowing that we are here to help keep them, their families, and our community safe.

The kids got to ask questions about our equipment, check out some of the gear we use, and, of course, climb into our vehicles and experience the lights and sirens! 🚨👮‍♀️👮‍♂️

There were plenty of smiles, lots of curiosity, and maybe a few future police officers in the making! 😉

Thank you to the preschool staff for letting us spend some time with your little ones. Building relationships with our community starts at any age! 💙

A huge THANK YOU to Colorado National Speedway for letting our officers take over the track and sharpen their driving skills!

While we may not be handing out NASCAR trophies anytime soon, our officers had a great opportunity to practice vehicle control, maneuvering, and other skills that help keep them—and everyone else on the road—safe.

We appreciate Colorado National Speedway for supporting our department and giving us a great place to train!
