Presenting: even more artistic fun at River Crest Elementary!

Our 5th graders took pattern drawing to a whole new dimension with Zentangle art! Using simple lines, they turned flat drawings into mind-bending 3D sculptures. 🧊✨

The best part? Each student designed 3 custom patterns packed with their own unique personality, interests, and style. We are so proud of their incredible focus, creativity, and individuality! 👏💡

📖 100,000 Reasons to Celebrate! ❤️

At River Crest, learning doesn't stop when summer starts!

Our staff is so proud to announce the final results of our Summer Reading Challenge: our students logged over 100,000 minutes of reading over summer break! 🏆

Behind every strong reader is a supportive family, and we want to extend a huge thank you to our parents and caregivers for making reading a priority. We are so grateful for this incredible community! 💙✨

Another year, another UNFORGETTABLE Color Run! 🌈💥

This year was truly off the charts! With so many new faces joining our River Crest family, the energy, cheering, and community spirit reached a whole new level. 📣✨ Students cheering on their friends, parents rooting for their kids, and of course... the ultimate highlight: the dunk tank! 💦🎯

Safe to say we’ll be talking about this one until next year's run! 💬🎉

A massive shoutout to our incredible parent group for organizing such an epic event and making memories that will last a lifetime. We truly are Better Together!💙

This past Friday, the River Crest community gathered around our flagpole to honor Patriot Day. Together, we paused to reflect, remember, and pay tribute to the heroes and lives lost on September 11, 2001. We are so proud of our students and staff for showing such unity and respect.

Welcome Back, River Crest family! 💙🖤 It’s ALWAYS a great day to be a Raider, but kickstarting the year all together hits different! ✨

We officially launched the new school year with an interactive all-school assembly centered around our theme: Better Together! 🤝 From high-fives to high energy, our staff led students through fun activities to refresh our Raider expectations—keeping our school safe, responsible, and respectful all year long. ⚡️

Major shoutout to Mrs. Blattner and Ms. Lurndal for bringing the hype and organizing an amazing event! Let’s make this year our best one yet! 🎉

Yesterday, the Class of 2026 took a walk down memory lane! Wearing their caps and gowns, our graduating seniors returned to the hallways where their educational journeys first began.

Seeing the elementary students line the hallways to cheer on the graduates is a powerful reminder of where the graduates started and where hard work can take you.

What a great tradition and send off for our Seniors!
