Did you know that Agatha Christie once went missing for 11 days?

In 1926, the famed mystery writer made headlines herself when she disappeared after an argument with her husband. Although Christie was eventually found checked into a hotel under the name of her husband’s mistress, the writer claimed amnesia and never offered a reason for her disappearance. Below is a real newspaper clipping from her 11-day national manhunt. 📰📚👤
Agatha Christie is our author of the month at the Hughesville Library! Come check out one of her mysteries today!
