We're excited to announce Borrell USA as an official sponsor of the 2026 Duarte Party at Cafeteria 15L!

Founded in Spain in 1922, Borrell is a fourth-generation, family-owned company specializing in nut processing equipment. With over a century of experience and more than 60 patents, Borrell continues to advance the industry through innovative machinery and technology for almonds, pistachios, and other nuts.

We're grateful for Borrell's support and look forward to celebrating with them at this year's Duarte Party during The Almond Conference!

These trees were planted in July 2025, demonstrating one of the key advantages of potted trees: planting flexibility.

Containerized trees can be successfully planted throughout the year, giving growers more options when it comes to getting their next orchard in the ground.

Planning for 2027? Duarte Nursery has potted trees available. Connect with your local sales representative to learn more about available varieties and rootstocks.

There’s nothing we love more than exploring the many possibilities of the Yorizane almond.

This morning, we visited Borrell USA, in Merced to take a closer look at how Yorizane is hulled and explore the potential benefits of its unique butterfly hull.

With off-ground harvesting, the almond never touches the orchard floor, opening the door to new possibilities for the hull, including its potential as a food-grade product.

From harvest to processing, we’re continuing to learn what else the Yorizane can offer beyond the kernel.
