Mission Possible: Oklahoma 4-H Health & Wellness Discovery Day
Registration is OPEN for the Oklahoma 4-H Health & Wellness Discovery Day! This year’s theme, Mission Possible, invites 4-H members in 6th grade and up, volunteers and parents to accept the mission of exploring health, wellness and future careers in health on Saturday, November 7, at the OSU Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa. Youth will tour the medical school, meet health professionals, and experience hands-on learning designed to help them discover the many possibilities in the health and wellness field.
Throughout the day, participants will practice CPR and chest compressions, explore human anatomy, try medical equipment, experience health careers through virtual reality, participate in a farm-to-fork nutrition activity, build a take-home wellness kit and learn from 4-H Healthy Living Ambassadors.
Registration is $20 and includes light morning refreshments, lunch, a T-shirt and workshop materials. The event is open to youth and adults, 6th grade and up, and registration closes October 30 at 5:00 p.m. Please encourage your 4-H families to register through ZSuites and join us for Mission Possible!

🍀 Help build brighter futures for young people through 4-H.

Starting today through Oct. 11, guests can round up their purchase at Casey's or make a donation online to support local 4-H programs. Casey's will also match guest donations up to $150,000.

Every contribution helps more young people access opportunities that prepare them to be .

The 2nd Oklahoma 4-H Junior Governor event will be held on November 7th, 2026, in Stillwater at the North Classroom Building. This civic education event is for 4-H members, 4-6th grade, where they will experience hands on learning about the three branches of government, civic engagement, platforms and public speaking.

4-H members in 5th grade will have the opportunity to run for Junior Governor by choosing a platform and giving a speech in front of the attendees at the event. All delegates will have the opportunity to vote for Junior Governor and cabinet members. The role of Junior Governor is a yearlong commitment and gives youth the opportunity to be more involved in their community and state government.

Choctaw County fair is a wrap! Congratulations to everyone!

Just a reminder all 1st place winners in 4-H will be entered for the Tulsa State Fair. If you do not want your project to go please let me know. You will have to email [email protected] or message this page as our office phones are still not working.

Choctaw county fair is in full swing! Come on out and see what’s going on! I’ve spotted a huge slide, mechanical bull, food trucks galore! Poultry and rabbits are checking in and show at 5!
Don’t miss out on seeing all the 4-H projects our county youth have been working on this year! All 1st place winners will head to the Tulsa State Fair for indoor exhibits.

The Oklahoma 4-H Junior Governor event gives 4-H’ers in grades 4-6 a hands-on look at the three branches of government while building skills in civic engagement, public speaking and leadership. Fifth-graders can run for Oklahoma 4-H Junior Governor by developing a platform and delivering a campaign speech. At the end of the event, participants will vote for a Junior Governor and cabinet members. The elected Junior Governor will serve for a year, representing Oklahoma 4-H and engaging with their community and state government. 🗳️
