🧡 EXHAUSTED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT… BUT EVER SO THANKFUL. 🧡

There are so many people who deserve a thank you. From the agencies who showed up, the businesses and families who donated, the people who hosted games and activities, our volunteers, entertainment, Movies in the Park, and the crew working behind the scenes — this truly took a community.

Most importantly, thank YOU to every family who came out. Seeing the park full of kiddos playing games, painting pumpkins, exploring trucks, bouncing, dancing, wearing costumes and just having FUN made every exhausting minute worth it.

Was everything perfect? Probably not.
Did we learn a few things? Absolutely.
Would we do it all over again? Absolutely.

But today, we’re tired, thankful and incredibly grateful for this little community of ours.

A few quick reminders before heading to Hometown Harvest this afternoon! 🧡

🚧 The park will be CLOSED to through traffic.
Please DO NOT cross, move, drive around or drive through any barriers. They are there for the safety of our kiddos, guests and participants.

♿ HANDICAPPED PARKING
Located in front of Pavilion 3 (the large pavilion).
➡️ Enter from Lake Region Road.

🚗 LIMITED PARKING
Available in front of Pavilion 2, next to the Splash Pad.

🅿️ ADDITIONAL PARKING
Main Street • Local Bank • Senior Citizen Building lot • City parking lots • Library

⚠️ LOCAL BANK: Please DO NOT block the ATM lane. Vehicles blocking the ATM lane may be towed at the owner’s expense.

🚫 No alcohol is permitted in the park.

🏰 Please do not allow children to play on or around the inflatables unless they are open and supervised for use.

👀 Please keep an eye on your kiddos throughout the event and be mindful of vehicles, equipment and areas marked off with barriers.

🎟️ When you arrive: Find one of our Hometown Harvest volunteers to grab your FREE stamp card, then go have fun!

🎃 HOMETOWN HARVEST — KNOW BEFORE YOU GO! 👻

We’ve got a LOT happening Saturday, so here’s a little rundown of when everything is happening! 🧡

🍂 4:00 PM — HOMETOWN HARVEST BEGINS!
Carnival games, inflatables, food, drinks, dessert, music & more!

🚓 4:00–5:30 PM — TOUCH-A-TRUCK
Stop by anytime during this window to check out the vehicles and visit with our participating agencies!

🎨 4:30–5:30 PM — PUMPKIN PAINTING & DECORATING CONTEST
For ages 4–6 • 7–9 • 10–12

🎃 Painting & decorating ONLY — no carving
🎃 Choose one of our pumpkins or bring your own plain, undecorated pumpkin
🎃 One pumpkin per child
🎃 Kids should do the majority of the decorating themselves
🎃 Adults may assist with small tasks when needed, but should not design or decorate the pumpkin
🎃 Stop by anytime between 4:30–5:30 PM and use as much or as little of the contest window as you need
🎃 All entries must be turned in by 5:30 PM

Pumpkins will be judged on creativity, originality & overall appearance.

Before the fun begins Saturday, we want to recognize the businesses, organizations, agencies, volunteers and individuals who stepped up to help make it happen.

Whether you donated, volunteered, offered to host a game (or was badgered into it), have offered to provide entertainment, bringing a vehicle, hauling supplies, helped plan, or simply said “What do you need?” — THANK YOU! 🫶

💗 A special shoutout to Hulbert Public Works for the behind-the-scenes help that has gone into bringing Hometown Harvest together, taking care of the park and OF COURSE the snacky-snacks!

🎪 HOMETOWN HARVEST | 4:00–7:00 PM

When you arrive, find one of our Hometown Harvest volunteers — we’ll be easy to spot in our cute festival tees provided by The Chic Rider! 💕 They’ll get you set up with your FREE stamp card!

Your stamp card is your ticket to the fun and includes each carnival-style game, food, a drink, dessert, the bounce house AND your vote for Best Decorated Booth! 🎯🌭🥤🍪🏰🗳️

🎶 And YES — our DJ will be playing a few hits, so listen to the music, dance a little dancey-dance, play some games, win some candy… and remember, sharing with your friendly festival organizers is always encouraged. 🤣🍬

👻🎃 BREAK OUT THOSE COSTUMES! 🎃👻

Why wait until October 31?! Give that costume a test run at Hometown Harvest!

Whether it’s cute, creepy, homemade, hilarious or completely over-the-top — WE WANT TO SEE IT!

We’ll have a Costume Contest with age-group divisions, and our winners will take home Hometown Harvest Prize Buckets packed with goodies! 🏆🍬

Consider it your official practice round before all those Trunk-or-Treat and Halloween festivities later this month. 😉

🎨🎃 PUMPKIN PAINTING CONTEST

Pick a pumpkin and paint away! Contestants will be divided into age groups, and painting will be a timed activity, with judging afterward.

You’re also welcome to bring your own pumpkin! Please make sure it arrives PLAIN and undecorated — an empty canvas so everyone starts on equal footing.

⚠️ Pumpkins, food, drinks and desserts are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED, so come early and join the fun!

🌦️ WHAT ABOUT THE WEATHER?

We’re keeping an eye on that Oklahoma forecast and making plans accordingly! A little weather doesn’t have to ruin our fun — we have covered areas available and will make adjustments when possible.

Some outdoor activities may be modified, limited or unavailable due to weather conditions. Any significant weather-related changes will be posted right here on our page. Safety will always come first.
