Students have been super busy in art class! Kindergarten earned all their badges and are now certified to use all the regular art supplies. 1st and 2nd grade learned about geometric and freeform shapes and are now making their own custom crayons out of warm colors and cool colors. 3rd grade reviewed primary and secondary colors and are now using playdoh to mix secondary AND tertiary colors. 4th and 5th graders are learning how to use the new cardboard tools to create templates for string projects. Come check out our art display at Bingo for Books tonight!

📚🌈 Celebrating 9 to 5 Day with a Dolly Parton Partner Read! 🌈📚

Our Kindergarteners and 5th graders paired up for a special Dolly Parton Partner Read Celebration in honor of 9 to 5 Day!

Our 5th graders read to their Kindergarten buddies, and then everyone gathered to listen to Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors while working together to decorate their very own coat of many colors.

It was a wonderful day filled with reading, creativity, friendship, and a little Dolly magic! ✨📖🎨
