The John Gardiner Farm Stand and Lollipop Train are now closed for the winter season.

Thank you to everyone who visited this summer to shop at the farm stand or enjoy a ride on the train!

In the meantime, Dobler Farms’ Deer Park location remains open. For more information, including delivery options, please contact Erika Dobler at (516) 965-1568.

The Greenlawn-Centerport Historical Association sincerely thanks everyone who attended the 46th Annual Pickle Festival on September 19th, 2026! Be sure to check out the video by Candid Clouds Ny, featuring drone footage of the festival, edited by Alex Cruz.

We look forward to seeing everyone again at the 47th Annual Pickle Festival on September 18th, 2027!

The final day of the season for the Lollipop Train is this Saturday, October 17th, from 10 AM to 2 PM at the John Gardiner Farm. Come enjoy one last ride before we close for the winter season. We hope to see you there!

Be sure to stop by the John Gardiner Farm Stand at the corner of Little Plains and Park Avenue! It is open daily through October from 10 AM until 6 PM.

Also, don’t miss the Lollipop Train this Saturday, October 10th, and next Saturday, October 17th! Next Saturday might be our last ride before the season ends, but we’ll post an update.

Lastly, a huge thank you to Pete Thun for operating the train over the last decade, volunteering his time, and always greeting everyone with a smile. We truly appreciate all the time and dedication Pete has given to the train and to our community over the years.

We cannot thank you enough for joining the Greenlawn-Centerport Historical Association at the 46th Annual Pickle Festival this past Saturday.

Seeing the John Gardiner Farm filled with community and families made our day. We’re so grateful for everyone who came out, supported us, and made this year the best one yet.

We want to thank Dobler Farms, Horman’s Best, Yaphank Deli, and the Junior Welfare League of Huntington for being the cornerstones of our festival.

Thank you SOMEWHAT NAUTICAL for sharing their time and talent. Their music greatly contributed to the atmosphere of the day.

Greenlawn’s favorite tradition is back!

On Saturday, September 19th, the Greenlawn-Centerport Historical Association will host its 46th Annual Pickle Festival at the John Gardiner Farm, 900 Park Avenue, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Admission is $5 for non-members, $3 for members, and free for children under 12. *All proceeds go towards the Greenlawn-Centerport Historical Association.

The farm will be filled with activities and treats for all ages. Visitors can enjoy fried pickles, pickle sandwiches, specialty and hand-held pickles, freshly roasted corn, baked goods, and more!

There will also be hayrides, the historic Lollipop Farm Train, arts and crafts vendor booths, and festival souvenirs including T-shirts and pickle balloons🥒

Join the GCHA as we celebrate America 250 at the Grand Reopening of the John Gardiner Farm!

This Saturday, July 11 at 11 AM, come out for a free family event featuring hayrides, the Spirit of 76’ Lollipop Train, farm stand, and 250th decorations. This event is made possible by the generous support of the Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation.

Fresh produce, local favorites, and the best of summer are back at the Gardiner Farm Stand. Stop by to shop a variety of farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, locally made products, and seasonal treats.
