Last week, the Suffolk County Legislature recognized an incredible group of EMS responders during EMS Appreciation Week in Suffolk County, organized by Legislator Dominick Thorne.

We were proud to honor Mr. Roger Ketchum as the Legislative District 18 recipient. He has been an active member of the Halesite Fire Department since 1968 and an EMT since 1974.

Karen’s more than four decades of dedicated volunteer service, tireless advocacy, and community leadership have made a lasting impact on East Northport, where she has become a true pillar of the community. I was happy to celebrate her well-deserved recognition!
