🏈 Bearkat Football is back!

The Walker County Office of Emergency Management was proud to support Emergency Operations Center (EOC) operations during the first SHSU football game of the season.

Our team worked alongside SHSU Emergency Management, SHSU Police Department, Walker County EMS, SHSU Athletics, and other key partners to support coordination, situational awareness, and public safety throughout the event.

Large events like these are a great example of emergency management in action. Behind the scenes, agencies and organizations work together to share information, coordinate resources, and ensure everyone is prepared to respond if needed.

We appreciate the continued partnership and collaboration of everyone involved in supporting a safe and successful game day.
