🚀Our 4th and 5th grade artists are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a little math, culture and printmaking!

Students explored tradition sugar skull designs by learning about symmetry and and lines of symmetry. Then they created their own sugar skull designs and transferred them to foam printing plates before learning how to link and pull their very own prints on brightly colored paper.

They all are amazingly beautiful!!🚀

🎉💃🏼🎉A week ago we celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with our annual celebration. We had so many Ridgecrest families show up for the fun! We had Bori Munchies and Pinguinos Hermanos Huntsville for yummy food! El Coyote donated chips and salsa for our families, which we are very thankful for! Rep. Marilyn Lands stopped by to celebrate with us too and support this very fun event. Latin Roots Folklore performed for our families and they were outstanding! Our families also enjoyed Lotería, a craft table, a temporary tattoo table, fun music and our PTA had a table too. It was a very festive and fun night!🎉💃🏼🎉
