Walker County Judge C**t Christian and County Commissioners proudly recognized October 4–10, 2026, as National 4-H Week, honoring the outstanding youth who participate in the 4-H program and the positive impact they make throughout our community.
The 4-H program is much more than raising livestock and participating in agricultural projects. It teaches young people the importance of responsibility, teamwork, public speaking, community service, and leadership. Through hands on experiences, these young individuals gain confidence, develop strong values, and build a foundation for future success.
Judge Christian and the County Commissioners recognize the commitment of Walker County's 4-H members, who dedicate countless hours to their projects, competitions, and community activities. These young people represent the future of our county, demonstrating that hard work, determination, and a willingness to serve others can make a lasting difference.
