I just watched this video for school, and it made me realize that visiting a library can feel intimidating for some people. You might not know where to start, what to ask, or whether someone can help with what you need.

At the Hurley Public Library, we want you to feel welcome the moment you walk through the door! We're a small library with a big heart, and we're always happy to help.

📖 Looking for your next great read? I love making book suggestions, and I'd love to start a list of recommendations from our patrons, too! What books have you loved lately?

💻 Need to use a computer? We have public computers and remote printing.

📦 Need to return a package? One of our most common questions lately is, "I need to return something. Can you help me print my UPS label?" And the answer is YES, we can help!

❤️ Did you know Hurley Public Library cards are FREE for everyone, no matter where you live? You don't have to be a Hurley resident to become a library member!

We've become so much more than a place to borrow books. Whether you have a question, need a little help with technology, or just want to stop in and see what's new, we're here for you.

You don't need to know exactly what you need before you walk through our door. Just stop by, say hello, and let us help you figure it out! ❤️

🎃👻 Stop by the Hurley Public Library on Halloween! 👻🎃

Come trick-or-treat with us on Saturday, October 31st, from 3–6 PM! 🍬 We can’t wait to see all our little ghosts, goblins, and superheroes!

A big thank-you to the Friends of the Library for purchasing some fun treats for our trick-or-treaters! ❤️

We’re also accepting candy donations, so if you’d like to help out, feel free to drop off a bag at the library!

📚 A Special Visit to the Library! ❤️

City Hall had the pleasure of welcoming the Hurley K-12 first-grade class for a visit! Thank you to all the students for stopping by.

A special thank-you to our Friends of the Hurley Library member, Mrs. Bertagnoli, for reading the children a story and sending them back to school with a snack! 🥰
