Hurricane Residents‼️
Fall time is here and Winter is just right around the corner. Let’s revisit some vehicle safety tips as we have had quite a few vehicles get broken into lately.
Please keep your vehicles locked at all times. Especially overnight while you are inside asleep. An unlocked vehicle is an easy target for somebody looking for an opportunity to be a thief.
Please do not leave your valuables inside your vehicles. That means anything with sensitive or personal information, fi****ms, wallets, purses, etc.
We know these cold West Virginia mornings make you want to go start your vehicles to let them warm up while you finish getting ready inside. However, leaving your vehicle unlocked with the keys in the ignition creates an easy crime of opportunity for somebody. It only takes a small window of time to have your car stolen. If you have access to remote-start that keeps your vehicle locked while it is warming up, that is a good alternative.
These few simple precautions only take a few seconds of your time and will make a difference in your vehicle safety!
Thank you!!
