Join us at the Hurst Public Library for Bilingual Storytime: ¡Cuentos y Cantos! where little ones can enjoy stories, music, and early literacy activities while building language skills in both English and Spanish! As many Hurst elementary schools serve large Spanish-speaking populations, bilingual programs like this are important for supporting young learners and connecting with families across our community.

Held on the second Tuesday of each month, this program is designed for children ages 6 and under with a caregiver and welcomes both native Spanish speakers and learners. Come read, sing, and learn together at the Library! 📖 🎶 For more information about Library programs, visit hursttx.gov/library.

City Council has approved an amendment to Chapter 2 of the City’s Code of Ordinances, moving city council meetings from the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month to the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month. This decision was made in an effort to avoid scheduling conflicts with other community activities that typically occur on Tuesday evenings.

The first Monday Regular City Council meeting will be held on October 12, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. The meeting time and location remain unchanged. Meeting agendas will continue to be published in advance on the City’s website at hursttx.gov/agendas.
