🎃🚒 EXCITING THINGS ARE HAPPENING THIS OCTOBER AT HUSTONTOWN AREA VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY! 🚒🎃

We have a jam-packed month of food, family fun, and community events, and we hope you’ll join us!

🔥 OCTOBER 10TH — OPEN HOUSE 🔥

Bring the whole family out for a day of fun! Try your hand at putting out a mock house fire, take on our obstacle course, and enjoy a tour of the Fire Museum!

🌭 We’ll also have hot dogs, chips, popcorn, cotton candy, punch, and water!

Come meet your local firefighters and enjoy a fun day at the firehouse!

🍂 OCTOBER 16TH–18TH — FULTON FALL FOLK FESTIVAL WEEKEND 🍂

🐟🥩 FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16TH — FISH OR STEAK DINNER
Choose from an 8 oz. breaded fish, 8 oz. baked fish, or 8 oz. ribeye steak, served with mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, a drink, and dessert. Chicken strips will also be available for the kiddos!

Meals — $15
Steak & Fish Combo — $20
⏰ Doors open from 4:00–7:00 PM

🥘 SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17TH — SLIPPERY POT PIE
Choose from ham, beef, or chicken pot pie, served with coleslaw, a beverage, and bread with apple butter.

To everyone who participated in our 9/11 Memorial Walk, from the bottom of our hearts here at the Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Company — THANK YOU!

Thank you for taking time out of your day to walk alongside us as we honored and remembered the lives lost on September 11, 2001. Thank you for staying afterward to hear the messages, share in fellowship, and come together as a community on such a meaningful day.

To our volunteers — THANK YOU. Not only for answering the call when the tones drop, but for the countless hours of work that happen behind the scenes. The planning, preparation, setup, cleanup, and everything in between does not go unnoticed. We are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.

And to our community, thank you for continuing to stand behind and support your local volunteers. Seeing everyone come together in remembrance is what made today so special.

Today marks 25 years, citizens, fire and EMS, law enforcement many paid the ultimate price 25 years ago and we shall never forget those who fought so hard to try to save so many lives.
Where were you when the world stopped turning today 25 years ago?
Wherever you are today please take some time out of your day and remember those that went to work and never got to come home!!

🇺🇸 4 DAYS AWAY! 🇺🇸

We are just 4 days away from our 9/11 Memorial Walk! As we prepare for this special morning of remembrance, here are a few important reminders to help everything go smoothly.

🚒 WALKERS:
If you are walking with us, please arrive at the Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Company no later than 8:00 AM.

🚌 We have secured a bus to transport everyone to the Clear Ridge Community Center. The bus will leave the firehall at approximately 8:10 AM.

🇺🇸 The Memorial Walk will begin promptly at 8:47 AM.

👕 MEMORIAL T-SHIRTS:
T-shirts will be available for purchase at the firehall before and after the walk. If you would like a shirt, please see one of our members to have your name added to the list, or stop by the T-shirt table that morning!

Shirt Pricing:
• Youth — $10
• S–XL — $20
• 2XL–5XL — $22

🚨 IMPORTANT ROUTE REMINDER:
For those planning to stand along the route and show their support, we will be walking from the Clear Ridge Community Center back to the Hustontown Firehall.

The roadway will NOT be closed during the walk, so we ask everyone—both walkers and spectators—to please use caution and remain aware of passing traffic.

We look forward to coming together as a community to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
