We hope everyone is having a great weekend. As we look forward to the week ahead, please join us at our next Meat Raffle this Wednesday October 14th at 6pm at Main Street Sports Bar, where we have fun raffling off chances to win some tasty vittles from Benny's Meat Market. 100% of the proceeds benefit our project to restore Komensky School.

How are we investing these funds?
Currently we have a handyman working to restore (repair, scrape, glaze, prime, paint) our windows before winter; a local mason will be arriving onsite soon to repair/replace the neediest 150 bricks on our building exterior; in preparation for this winter's heating season we will be having a local company add HVAC zone controls to separately regulate our heat between the lower/basement level and the upper level where our events happen. We are also writing grants to raise the funds to drill a well on our property to provide running water to the school, to install a new septic system and to modernize our toilet facilities, so that we can open up the school to host community events at the school.

If you would like to learn more on how you can join our mission and help this worthy cause, please contact us through this page or at our website: www.komenskyschool.org

Děkuji!

Each Wednesday, the Hutch Tigers Football linemen gather for a meal together, in anticipation of the upcoming Friday game. This evening Komensky School was pleased to host the linemen dinner to repay the favor, as many of these young H POWER men had volunteered to haul the demolished concrete out of our basement earlier this summer. Go Tigers!!
