Lee Martinez Elementary School Lee Martinez Elementary opened in Fall 2025 as Hutto ISD’s eighth—and newest—elementary school.

The campus is located at 301 Main Hippo Drive, adjacent to the Ninth Grade Center.

Our amazing LMES First Graders celebrated National Punctuation Day on September 24th, and let’s just say… they made every mark count! ✏️📚

Our little learners explored the power of punctuation as they:
❗ Practiced choosing the correct end mark for each sentence.
❓ Read sentences with expressive voices and curious questions.
‼️ Discovered how exclamation points add excitement and BIG feelings to their words!

Through fun, hands-on activities, our first graders learned that punctuation does more than end a sentence — it helps us share our thoughts, ask questions, and bring our words to life! 💬✨

We’re putting a period on another wonderful learning adventure, but there’s always more to discover at LMES!
