It could mean a child having the support they need to succeed in school, a parent finding a path toward financial stability, or an older neighbor getting connected to the services they need.

These moments may look different from family to family, but they have something in common: community support can change what comes next.

CIUW works alongside local nonprofits, businesses, volunteers, and donors to help make sure individuals and families across the Cape and Islands have opportunities to move forward. Because a stronger community isn't built in one big moment. It's built every day, when we choose to show up for one another.

We participated in The Cape and Islands United Way Day of Action, filling resource bags for the Herren Project along with volunteers from Granite City Electric Supply Company. The Day of Action mobilizes volunteers to help an organization on Cape Cod. Every act of kindness adds up!
