The 2025 IAHS Home Tour is this Saturday, September 13 from 10 until 4. This is the last day to buy tickets online. Tickets will be on sale the day of the event as well near the Idyllwild Monument,

TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL HOME TOUR

1. THE "WILL CALL" AREA WILL OPEN AT 9:00AM FOR PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT TICKETS IN ADVANCE. PLEASE HAVE YOUR SALES RECEIPT OR TICKET WITH YOU. OUR STAFF WILL TAKE YOUR RECEIPTS/TICKETS AND GIVE YOU A TOUR BOOKLET. THE BOOKLET IS YOUR TRUE TICKET INTO EACH OF THE HOMES.
TICKETS WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT THE TICKET BOOTH NEAR THE TOWN MONUMENT BEGINNING AT 9:00AM ON SATURDAY.

2. PLEASE PLAN ON GETTING YOUR TICKETS AT THE TICKET BOOTH NEAR THE MONUMENT NO LATER THAN 2:00PM. TO SEE ALL THE HOUSES TAKES ABOUT 2 HOURS. THE HOMES WILL CLOSE PROMPTLY AT 4:00PM.

IDYLLWILD HOME TOUR - SEPTEMBER 13, 2025 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Each year IAHS offers public access to several homes, that vary in age, style, and setting for one day only. Each home is opened to the public for viewing both inside and out. These homes will introduce visitors to a range of mountain lifestyles. Children, accompanied by an adult, are welcome. Only Service Dogs will be allowed at the homes. This is NOT only a driving tour. You will drive to each home. Parking assistants will help you park. Then you will take a self-guided walking tour of each home. Docents will be at each home to provide background information about the home. Be advised, homes may not be wheelchair accessible and walking surfaces may be rocky or uneven. Good walking shoes, a hat and water are recommended.

OLDE TYME RADIO SUPPORTS IAHS! DON'T MISS IT!

On Monday, August 18th at 5:00PM at Middle Ridge Winery and Art Gallery, the Old Tyme Radio troupe will be performing "Mr. Deeds Goes to Town"(a 1936 Frank Capra movie, a 1940 radio broadcast with Orson Welles). Each performance has a portion of its proceeds go to a local non-profit organization.

Olde Tyme Radio has selected IAHS as its recipient for their August show. If you haven't been to an Olde Tyme Radio show, I encourage you to come to this one. They are fun and full of familiar local faces.

Hope to see you on August 18th for an early evening of entertainment and support for our museum.
