📚 Because of the generosity of Craighead Electric Cooperative, children in Lawrence County will continue receiving free books every month for another year!

Their investment will help provide books to more than 500 local children, supporting early literacy, school readiness, and a love of reading from birth to age five.

The will be accepting donations for the Thanksgiving Food Drive! Drop off at any location before November 13th.

Help us put Thanksgiving Dinner on the table! 🦃

This Thanksgiving, we want to make sure our neighbors in need have a warm holiday meal to share with their families.

We are asking for our community's help in collecting items for Thanksgiving meal kits!

Items Needed:

-Stove Top Stuffing
-Instant Mashed Potatoes
-Canned Corn
-Canned Green Beans
-Canned Yams
-Cranberry Sauce

Every donation, big or small, helps us bring a little extra joy to a family's Thanksgiving table. 🦃

Knitting and Crochet Club at the Bobbie Jean Memorial Library

Whether you are digging out your long-forgotten needles, bringing in your daily project, or picking up a hook for the first time, come join other yarn enthusiasts as we learn and create together!

We will have learning kits for newbies that include printed instructions, a hook or needle (depending on which you'd like to try) and some yarn to get you going!
