This year marks twenty-five years since our nation changed forever on September 11, 2001.
On this solemn 25th anniversary, the Imperial VFD pauses to remember the 343 members of the FDNY who made the ultimate sacrifice while answering the call. We also honor the more than 400 firefighters and first responders who have tragically lost their lives in the years since due to World Trade Center-related illnesses.
The courage, selflessness, and brotherhood demonstrated on that day redefined the fire service. Twenty-five years later, our vow remains unchanged: We Will Never Forget.
Never Forget. Honor the fallen. Stand united.
