The Booth Hotel in Independence, Montgomery County has received a $100,000 grant from the Heritage Trust Fund!

Completed in 1912 by Thomas Jefferson Booth, the hotel was constructed with concrete, which was new at the time, to be a more fireproof building. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, and today it remains an active hotel.
