Last Thursday we had a lovely lunch of Chick-fil-A compliments of Mark from Capital Management. He also brought with him Richard from Elder Law who gave us a ton of information about estate planning. We learned about wills and different powers of attorney and different trusts (and whether we needed one). It clarified things for some people and left others scratching their heads. If you were a head scratcher, reach out to Richard to get more clarification. Thanks to both Mark and Richard! Knowledge is power.

We had a wonderful lunch and were introduced to a wonderful group of people. The Bluegrass Outreach Initiative is bridging the gap between medical equipment and individuals in need, providing the necessary tools and resources to maintain dignity, wellness, and self-sufficiency at home. Elaine and Erik explained how they got started and how they help people get necessary medical equipment. If you are in need of equipment or have equipment to donate, reach out to them!

It was a happy - sad day at the center today. Today was James' last day leading our exercise class. We have certainly enjoyed his classes and thank him for volunteering with us and, boy, will we miss him. We wish him all the best with his new home!
