White Township Citizens' Ambulance Service Membership Information Clarification

White Township would like to clarify recent information regarding emergency medical transport services.

White Township residents and business owners will not receive a bill from the Indiana County Emergency Medical Services Authority (ICMESA). Although ICMESA recently announced that membership invoices will be mailed, those mailings do not apply to White Township.

In the best interest of our community, the White Township Board of Supervisors has directly contracted with Citizens' Ambulance Service for 2026. This agreement ensures that every White Township household and business receives the high level of care offered by Citizens' Ambulance Service throughout the 2026 calendar year.

As we look toward 2027, the Township is actively evaluating long-term funding options to ensure the continued availability of high-quality emergency medical services. One option under consideration is an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Fee similar to those adopted by other municipalities. No decisions have been made at this time.

White Township takes great pride in providing exceptional emergency services to our residents, businesses, and visitors. Emergency medical services are an essential part of public safety, and the Board of Supervisors remains committed to identifying a sustainable funding solution that protects these critical services for years to come.

The Township will continue to keep residents informed as discussions progress and encourages anyone with questions to contact the Township Office
