🎃🚒 **THE HALLOWEEN PARADE IS BACK IN DOWNTOWN INDIANA!** 👻🍬
The Indiana Fire Association, Kiwanis Club of Indiana and Indiana Downtown are teaming up to bring a Halloween parade back to Indiana Borough, and we want to make this first year HUGE for the kids!
📅 **SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24TH**
📍 **Meet at the Indiana Fire Association – 501 Philadelphia Street**
🕗 **8:45–9:20 AM:** Gather at the fire station and get ready to march!\
🎺 **9:20 AM:** Parade lineup\
👻 **9:30 AM:** PARADE STEPS OFF!
We’ll march west on Philadelphia Street toward North 8th Street, with the IASD Junior High Marching Band joining the fun!
🚨 **AND HERE'S THE IMPORTANT PART: EVERYONE IS INVITED!**
You do NOT have to live in Indiana Borough. You do NOT have to live in Indiana County. You don't even have to know where Indiana is without using GPS. 😂
**If you're reading this, you're invited!** Bring your kids, your grandkids, your neighbors, your friends, and anyone else who enjoys Halloween, candy, and watching children consume enough sugar to concern their parents.
🎃 **COSTUME SUGGESTION FROM YOUR FRIENDS AT THE FIRE DEPARTMENT:**
We are especially supportive of anyone showing up dressed as a firefighter. In fact, those little firefighters might receive some *very special treatment* from the real firefighters at the station. 😉🚒
We're not making any promises, but we know a few firefighters who are easily bribed with a good costume and a little enthusiasm. (Actual fire trucks are not included in the costume package.)
🍬 **10 AM–12 PM: DOWNTOWN BUSINESS TRICK-OR-TREAT!**
After the parade, head to more than **60 participating downtown businesses** for candy and Halloween treats! The Kiwanis Club of Indiana, PA, will also provide treat bags for participating children. Pick up the list of participating businesses at IRMC Park.

This is the first year we're bringing the parade back in this format, and we want to see downtown packed with kids, families, creative costumes, and enough tiny firefighters to make us wonder if we accidentally scheduled a recruitment event.
👨👩👧👦 Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please use marked crosswalks, obey pedestrian signals, and watch for traffic. Philadelphia Street will reopen to vehicles immediately following the parade.
