The Herron Art Library will be closed on Friday, May 15th as we will be at University Library's all staff Org Day.
We will reopen on Monday, May 18th with our limited Summer hours: Mon-Fri 10am-2pm. These hours will remain through summer break until the Fall '26 semester begins.

To celebrate, we're highlighting a which is Weather Box (2014) by Sara Bouchard. Bouchard is a multidisciplinary artist and composer currently based in Richmond, VA. Weather Box "is a hand-cranked music box, housed in scavenged cardboard and accompanied by 12 punch card "scores" derived from actual weather data" taken from Central Park, NYC. Each score is graphed by notes based on temperature, wind speed, and precipitation to create a unique song that is represented in each month of the year from 2014. The library has edition 16/20. π¬οΈπ€οΈπΆ

We had a great day yesterday at the 4th Annual Indiana Libraries and Literacy Symposium yesterday! We enjoyed the many insightful and entertaining conversations as well as showcasing a selection of our artists' book collection!
