Designed to meet students where they are 🧡💙

Indianapolis Metropolitan High School is built to support students facing circumstances that may create barriers to their education.

These can include teen pregnancy, teen parenting, involvement in foster care, homelessness, identification for special education services, or involvement with the criminal justice system.

With a supportive environment and wraparound resources, Indy Met helps students overcome challenges and stay on track toward graduation and beyond. 🎓

Graduation is not just the end of high school. It is the beginning of what comes next 💙🎓🧡 We are proud of our expected grads for all of their perseverance, growth, and accomplishments 💙🤍🧡

Indianapolis Metropolitan High School is committed to helping student-parents succeed by offering free on-site child care during the school day.

Through the Young Learners Child Care Center, open Monday through Friday during school hours, students can focus on their education while knowing their children are in a safe environment. 👶📚

to this year’s annual College Field Trip Day. On top of weekly enrichment trips to colleges and cultural centers in the Indy area, once a year we send all our students off campus on the same day to visit a post-secondary institution of their choice. This year we visited Mid-America College of Funeral Service, Ball State University, DePauw University, Aviation Institute of Maintenance, Hoosier Trade School, PJ’s Cosmetology, Fortis College and Indiana University Southeast. Our students love learning about all the different and unique things they can do after graduation 🎓= 🩻📚💻✈️🔧💇🏾‍♀️🩺🧑🏽‍🏫

Our expected grads are finishing strong and preparing for the next chapter 🎓 Each graduate has a story, a goal, and a future ahead of them, and we are proud to be part of their journey 🧡💙

Reaching full potential at Indy Met 🎓

Students who qualify for special education services work alongside their families, teachers, and support staff to create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to their unique needs. These plans help ensure each student has the tools, support, and guidance needed to grow academically and reach their full potential.
