Our very own, Jeff Garn who has served in your Attorney General’s Office for over a decade, spoke to a full audience today at LSA's legal education seminar yesterday.

He walked everyone through the history and current state of administrative law—giving attendees real insights they can put to work.

Huge thanks to LSA for putting this important CLE together and inviting us to be part of it! 🏛️

If you purchased an item in September that has been recalled, check what you own, stop using anything on the list, and follow the official instructions so your family stays safe.

STATEWIDE–Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita is warning residents to immediately check their homes for more than 50 products recalled last month by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The list includes items found in bedrooms, nurseries, and backyards that pose risks of fire, choking, e...

After our Medicaid Fraud Control Unit was named MFCU of the Year for 2025, Vice President JD Vance pointed to our work as a model for other states to follow. Having already recovered more than $100 million in Medicaid welfare provider fraud since 2021, we’re proud to take his pledge and continue that fight alongside him and President Donald J. Trump.

Together, we will ensure American benefits programs serve only law-abiding Americans, not fraudsters and their enablers.

Parents—not government bureaucrats—have the fundamental right to decide whether schools can subject their children to surveys, screenings, or evaluations that probe their mental health, political beliefs, or private family matters.

A recent joint letter from U.S. Department of Education and The United States Department of Justice delivers a clear warning: Schools must obtain written parental consent before administering sensitive student surveys and evaluations as required under the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA). Where written consent is required, simply giving parents an opportunity to opt out is NOT enough.

The PPRA is an important safeguard that many Indiana schools have ignored without consequence for decades. Thankfully, this Administration has made its enforcement a priority. Parents who believe their rights have been violated can file a federal complaint through the U.S. Department of Education’s website.

Our children do not belong to the government. Parents have the natural right and moral authority to direct their upbringing. That authority must be respected in every Indiana classroom.

🚨With months still left in the year, our Unclaimed Property Division has officially crushed their all-time annual record, putting nearly $90 million in forgotten cash back in Hoosiers hands!

We worked hard and went further than ever to find people and return what is theirs.

This is a great achievement and milestone, but we’re not done — there’s still nearly a billion dollars of your money still waiting to be claimed, and we’ll continue working to return every single cent.

You can search for unclaimed property free of charge at any time by visiting IndianaUnclaimed.gov or by texting CLAIM to 46220.

Happy 251st Birthday to the United States Navy!

On October 13, 1775, the Continental Congress established the Navy that would help secure American independence and has safeguarded our freedom on the seas ever since. Today we honor every sailor who has stood the watch—and every family who has supported them.

We are especially grateful for the Hoosiers who have worn the Navy uniform, including the Navy veterans who work or have worked in our office.

God bless all of you and thank you for your service!

Happy Columbus Day!

Despite the radical Americans who have tried unsuccessfully to cancel this holiday before and want to do it again, we will keep celebrating the monumental efforts that led to the greatest Republic of all time, and the proud heritage and countless contributions of millions of Italian Americans to our nation’s story.

It was great to join township trustees, board members, and employees at the Indiana Township Association Educational Conference in Noblesville this week, where I had the chance to share our Dual Office Holding Guide and engage with so many dedicated local leaders.

Township government is the level closest to the people—providing emergency aid, fire protection, housing assistance, and so much more. My office is committed to being a partner in strengthening public trust through transparency, accountability and ethical service.

Special thanks to Lydia Wales for her work as Membership Ambassador and to newly appointed Executive Director John Wales for the warm hospitality.

After my team and I intervened on behalf of the state’s interests, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has determined the Indianapolis Airport Authority is not authorized to close the Indianapolis Downtown Heliport, keeping it open as an aviation facility and preserving a significant state asset.

This is a win for Indiana’s taxpayers, public safety, the future of advanced air mobility, and aviation generally. The downtown heliport is a unique asset that in addition to serving passengers and general aviation, also serves law enforcement, homeland security, military support, and emergency medical services.
