Southside Democrat Club

As a reminder, there is no regular meeting tonight. Stay tuned for an announcement of when our final meeting will be.

For those not in attendance at the October meeting, the club held a final vote to sell the club building. After this sale is complete and all expenses settled, we will dissolve the club leaving the remaining assets to Marion County Democratic Party in hopes they 1) hold an annual event to honor longtime SSDC President Larry Ryan, and 2) hire a full time staff to help with MCDP operations.

We will keep everyone updated as this process continues.

We will not be meeting in November as our normally scheduled first Tuesday is Election Day. We will keep you updated about December meeting plans.

State Rep. Mitch Gore (D-Indianapolis) will be joining us tonight as our guest speaker to share information about how we can help in what will likely be one of the most competitive general election races on the Southside.

The club realtor will also be present tonight for an update on the status of the building sale.
