About 1,800 customers are still impacted, with 173 incidents remaining. Our crews continue working in extreme heat to restore service as quickly and safely as possible.

06/12 11:00 AM Storm Restoration Update: Outages have been reduced by half over the past few hours. We’re currently at ~2,000 outages across 227 incidents. Each incident requires crews to assess, clear, and safely repair. That means restoration takes time, especially as we work through smaller, more localized outages.
Due to the number of incidents, restoration is expected to continue throughout the day. Our crews will continue to work around the clock to restore power safely and as quickly as possible.

Last night, a severe weather system brought damaging winds with gusts of 60+MPH and heavy rainfall across our service territory leading to power outages across Central Indiana due to downed trees and power lines.
At this time, 99% of our customers have power with approximately 4,600 customers impacted. We are fully staffed, and our crews are assessing damage and working as quickly and safely as possible to restore service.
