For the safety of all participants, today’s Prairie Dash has been canceled due to weather conditions. While we are disappointed, the safety of our students, families, volunteers, and staff comes first.

Thank you for your support of tomorrow's Prairie Dash 5k! We are so excited for you to participate with us!

As you may have seen, there is the potential for rain in the morning forecast. We are closely monitoring the weather and will share updates as soon as possible if any delays or cancellations become necessary.

Please continue checking your email and websites/social media channels for both HSEF and LTSF for the latest event information.

In the event of severe weather or lightning, we will delay the race up to 30 minutes. Should severe weather persist after a delayed start, Conner Prairie may cancel the race. No refunds or race deferrals will be provided to participants in this instance.

At this year’s Celebration Gala, we announced a $1 million gift from the Ron and Laura Frieden family—the largest gift in LTSF history.

This transformational investment establishes the Frieden Family Legacy Educator Excellence Endowment Fund, permanently supporting our Creative Impact Grants, which bring innovative, hands-on learning experiences to students across Lawrence Township.

Ron Frieden, a founding member of LTSF in 1983, helped shape the Foundation from the very beginning. This gift honors that legacy while investing in the future of our students and educators.

We are deeply grateful to the Frieden family for their extraordinary generosity and belief in public education.
