It breaks our hearts to recognize the mass shooting at Indianapolis's FedEx facility. The tragic and senseless loss of our community members to gun violence weighs heavy on our minds. Even more so, it strengthens our passion to voice our mission. This event reminds us that there is much application and awareness of Violence Reduction needed - not only in our very own community - but throughout the entirety of America.

Sending love to families and friends impacted directly by this loss. We encourage you to use your voices and stories to advocate for Violence Reduction, and to strengthen those with similar wounds in their heart. 💜

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Like many organizations and individuals this year, we have been affected by the economic and social impacts of COVID-19. Although our ability to hold our programs has been challenged, we are stepping back for a couple months to improve and redefine our mission. Violence Free Living is temporarily closing our doors, pausing all programing, closing our website and refocusing our efforts to properly fund our new direction with hopes of making an even larger community impact in our near future. We thank everyone who has supported us through this difficult time, and we graciously are accepting any donations to help us improve our services, reach more people/communities and get back on our feet again.

If you have any questions about our standing or changes to come, please contact Lucia, our Director, at [email protected].

We will be back soon, and stronger than ever! We greatly appreciate all of your support!!! 💜
