This Pride Month, we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and reaffirm a simple truth: every person deserves to feel seen, valued, respected, and safe.

Indianapolis is strongest when everyone has the opportunity to belong, contribute, and thrive.

This month and every month, let's continue building a city where people can live authentically, support one another, and feel at home in their community.

Indianapolis carries a deep legacy of honoring those sacrifices, with memorials and monuments across our city reminding us of the courage, service, and commitment of generations who answered the call.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we also take a moment to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy because of those who gave everything in defense of them.
