Board Member James No and Executive Director Emily Nelson were at Victory Field Tuesday for Get On Board — Leadership Indianapolis' matchmaking event for prospective nonprofit board members.

A big thank-you to Deaton's Mechanical for stepping in when our walk-in cooler needed repair.

What would have been hundreds of dollars was waived in support of Westminster's work on the Near Eastside. That kind of practical help keeps pantry and soup kitchen operations moving without missing a beat.

We're grateful for the quick response and the generosity.

We will be hosting a Re-Entry Resource Fair on June 15 during our pantry hours. Neighbors will have access to information and additional resources on healthcare, legal aid, social services and more.

Westminster Neighborhood Services is one of our partner organizations and came to volunteer. They bundled diapers together and wanted to be a part of seeing how diapers get to them, which is always such a great full circle moment and very special.

June 8 – July 22 · 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
For students entering grades 3–6 on the Near Eastside.

Sports and recreation, arts and crafts, swimming, reading, math, STEM, field trips, and three meals a day. Drop-off and pickup at 2325 E. New York St.

We'll be serving our neighbors all week. Stop in and see us, or feel free to share this information with someone who could use a bit of help.

Our Pop Up Pantry will be at the East Washington Library (2822 E Washington Street) tomorrow from 10a - 12p, providing non-perishable items, bread, meat, produce, and sandwiches.
