Dr. Weaver was reappointed as State Health Commissioner by Governor Mike Braun on January 13, 2025, after first being named to the role by Governor Eric J. Holcomb in June 2023. She brings a clear focus on improving the health of Hoosiers through prevention, data-informed programming, and access to care in every corner of the state.
As State Health Commissioner, Dr. Weaver leads the implementation of major statewide initiatives, including:
GROW: Cultivating Hoosier Health, with a strong focus on rural health.
Health First Indiana, an initiative designed to strengthen prevention and expand the delivery of core public health services across Indiana

Her leadership reflects the kind of steady, mission-driven work that impacts families, communities, and future generations, and we can’t wait to hear her perspective during this special conversation.

Indiana Secretary of Education

As Indiana’s first Secretary of Education and the state’s top education official, Dr. Jenner leads a unified, student-centered vision spanning K–12 through college. She serves in Governor Mike Braun’s cabinet and oversees eight agencies and boards that represent roughly 60% of the state budget, including leadership of the Indiana Department of Education and the Indiana Commission for Higher Education, while also chairing the State Board of Education.
