Bilingual Income Supports Coach

Do you love tackling complicated problems - figuring out creative solutions to assist our neighbors in challenging personal circumstances? Are you energized by community building and supporting our neighbors' work towards finding stability? We'd love for you to join us in working together to serve, strengthen and support our neighbors in southeast Indianapolis.

As an Income Support Coach you’ll link residents of the southeast side of the Indianapolis area to support services and grow relationships with our neighborhood residents for long-term results.

Fluency, both written and spoken, in Spanish and English is required.

One of our favorite programs at Southeast is the monthly Parent Café. Families share a community meal, children join age-based groups for activities and play, and parents have space to converse, exchange practical advice, and form meaningful connections. Over time, we’ve watched parents create support networks, share resources, exchange rides, and encourage one another through challenges. At SECS, family programming helps create moments like these every day.
Programs matter. Relationships matter even more. Because when families feel connected, they are better equipped to thrive.

Navigating government systems, benefit programs, housing resources, and applications is often complicated, especially when you’re already overwhelmed with unexpected life events. Our neighbors don’t lack determination. They lack an advocate. They need someone who can help them connect to the right department, the right person, send the correct forms.
Income support coaches walk alongside neighbors as they navigate these complex systems and access resources they’ve earned and deserve.
Sometimes you just need help finding the path!
