Thank you again to Trinity Church at Garfield Park for having the trash for cash again today. This program has been an investment in the community for them in the Garfield Park area and along the parkway. Countless bags of trash and $1,200 so far spent on the clean-up. Thank you to the youth ministry group that came out to help also. Thank you to the partnership with DPW to come and remove the trash as well.

Thank you to the family, retired officers and officers that came to remember Sgt. Sandler and his sacrifice today. Sgt. Sandler's Fallen Officer Legacy Project was posted today with his widow, daughters, and grandchildren in attendance. We were deeply honored to be a part of this.
