Congrats to Fmr. College Dem Alum Tarena Lofton.
Tarena Lofton is a native of Fishers, Indiana and graduated cm laude from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, with a concentration in public relations and a minor in political science. During undergraduate tenure, she served as Communications Director for College Democrats of IUPUI, a Liberal Arts Student Ambassador, and a member of IUPUI Honors College. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and held two leadership positions. Tarena has been a communications intern at the office of Mayor Joe Hogsett and Vox Global, a public affairs firm. Her policy interest includes education and criminal justice reform. Tarena is currently interning in the office of Representative Ted Lieu.
