WHO SHOULD BE NEXT? Flashes Wall of Fame Nominations Are Open! Every generation of Flashes has people whose impact reaches far beyond a classroom and a school building, leaving a legacy that is generational. They lead. They serve. They achieve. They give back. And they Make A Difference.

Now, we need your help identifying who should be honored next in the Flashes Wall of Fame! The Flashes Wall of Fame celebrates individuals whose accomplishments, leadership, service, and commitment have made a lasting impact on our schools, our students, and the entire FTCSC Flashes Community.

Nominations are accepted in three categories:
* Distinguished Alumni: Franklin Central graduates who have been out of high school for at least 10 years and have distinguished themselves through outstanding accomplishments in their careers, communities, and lives.
* Distinguished Faculty/Staff: FORMER FTCSC teachers, staff members, coaches, or administrators who demonstrated exceptional leadership, character, service, and achievement.
* Distinguished Community Members: Volunteers and community supporters whose dedication and service have made a significant and lasting difference for the FTCSC Flashes Community.

Think about the people who helped shape our FTCSC Flashes Community - the teacher you still remember, the coach who changed lives, the graduate who went on to accomplish something extraordinary, the volunteer who gave countless hours, the community member whose impact can still be felt today.

Who deserves to become part of the next class of the Flashes Wall of Fame?
Nominate someone today: https://forms.gle/oJpMixhPtjv3X83R8
Nominations close: Friday, October, 30

And help us find those deserving Flashes by sharing this post with alumni, former staff members, families, and friends throughout our community! Our history has been built by generations of incredible people. Now it’s our opportunity to recognize those whose legacy continues to inspire the Flashes who follow them.

Huge thank you to the Franklin Township Education Foundation for their incredible support of our teachers! 🌟

Thanks to their generous grant funding, our educators are bringing exciting new opportunities directly to our students. These funds will allow us to start a brand new Kindness Club, expand our hands-on learning with new robotics equipment, and bring a new 3D printer into the classroom!

We are so grateful for the Foundation’s dedication to enriching our school community and opening up new possibilities for our students to learn, create, and grow. 🛠️🤖💙

⚡💙 Celebrating Our Flashes! 💙⚡

Today we celebrated our Students of the Month and the incredible ways they are showing up, growing, and making a difference at Kitley!

Our students were recognized for demonstrating what it means to be a Flash showing kindness, making positive choices, putting in effort, and using important skills like assertiveness to speak up for themselves and others.

And, of course, no celebration would be complete without a little fun! 🎉 Our students got to celebrate with Mrs. Koke and Mrs. Pryor , play a game, and enjoy a well-deserved moment in the spotlight.

We are so proud of these students and the example they are setting for others. Congratulations, Students of the Month! ⭐

Keep shining, Flashes! ⚡

🔬⚡ Science Student of the Month! ⚡🔬

A big shoutout to Ms. Ward’s Science Student of the Month!

This student has been bringing curiosity, effort, and a willingness to learn to science class. We love seeing students ask questions, think critically, tackle challenges, and discover that sometimes the best learning happens when you’re willing to get a little messy along the way!

Congratulations! Keep exploring, keep wondering, and keep making your mark!

Way to be a Flash!

Breakfast Club is officially underway! 🍳

Mrs. Forler's Homeroom and Essential Skills classes have teamed up to create a Breakfast Club focused on something that matters just as much as starting the day with a good meal: connection, friendship, and belonging.

Students enjoy breakfast together while playing games, participating in activities, and most importantly, building friendships across classrooms and grade levels. It’s a simple way to create a welcoming space where everyone has a place at the table.

And this special initiative has been made possible through a Fund a Flash grant from the Franklin Township Educational Foundation! We are so grateful for their support and for helping us turn this idea into a meaningful experience for our students.

Breakfast + friendship + a little fun + an amazing community that believes in our students = a pretty great way to start the school day!

Thank you for helping make this initiative possible!

Making kindness our superpower, one breakfast at a time!
