🥾 Bootcamp Experience! 🥾
Educators from across 4MCD got the MCRD Parris Island experience during the annual Educators Workshop. Throughout the week long workshop they got well acquainted with the drill instructors, encountering first hand how discipline is instilled in new recruits. They received a hands-on experience from stepping on the yellow footprints all the way to graduation day, participating in some of the many challenges of Marine Corps bootcamp.

🦅Take the oath!🦅
On Sunday, 28 Indiana Poolees took the oath to start their journey towards becoming a United States Marine. During the Indy 500 Qualifying Weekend, the Indiana Motor Speedway held a mass armed forces swear-in ceremony, where over 200 young men and women swore in to their respective military branches.

Private First Class Aleman, a graduate from Columbus North High School, was awarded a Certificate of Commendation due to her hard work as a CDR Marine with RSS Columbus. Her diligent effort led to several highly qualified applicants enlisting in the United States Marine Corps.

The Marines of Recruiting Station Indianapolis on Thursday made it out to Brown County State Park. The Marines took part in a 3 mile hike, received awards for their hard work, conducted annual training and camped overnight.

Recruiting Station Indianapolis ended last week proper!
Last Friday marked the promotion from Sergeant to Staff Sergeant for SSgt. Giordy Rivera. A moment all our Marines were proud to be in attendance for.
We also spent some time highlighting a couple outstanding warriors who claimed awards attributed to their success this month.
