A busy August continues for the Indiana Guard Reserve. Members assisted the National Guard's CERFP Soldiers, as they practiced responding to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive incidents. Dozens of Guard Reservists acted as role players to provide realistic training for the team.

Annual Training 2025 is complete... mission accomplished! The IGR provided safety support for National Guard Soldiers on the ranges, assisted in MP training scenarios, and refined CERT skills for future missions. And more big things are ahead.

The Indiana Guard Reserve played key roles in Community Day at Camp Atterbury. Members kept the roads safe for 5K runners, gave tours of the post, coordinated transportation, recruited the next generation of Guard Reservists and more.

Indiana Guard Reserve goes global! This month, IGR members acted as role-players, assisting FEMA, the Indiana National Guard and a visiting international defense force. This is the first of many new missions the IGR will perform over the next several months.

It's become a tradition for IGR members to assist with security during the Indianapolis 500 Festival Mini-Marathon. This year was no different. Dozens of Guard Reservists were on duty in the background, making sure runners, walkers and spectators were all safe. But wait, there's more for the IGR this month!
