The Fuller Center for Housing of Central Indiana builds and re-builds homes and lives with hope, hard work, determination, prayer and God's love.
The Fuller Center for Housing of Central Indiana is in the business of building and re-building homes and lives with hope, hard work, determination, prayer and God’s love. Every dollar donated to the Fuller Center of Central Indiana goes entirely to build or rebuild homes, lives and relationships. We are all volunteers. Every dollar donated is tax deductible. We are asking for your donation of pra
yer, dollars, new building supplies and/or your time and talents. Our goal this year is $150,000. This is a mission trip or project right here in your own backyard! Inspired by the Architects of Habitat for Humanity, Millard and Linda Fuller, the Fuller Center for Housing of Central Indiana is a 501(C)(3) Indiana non-profit corporation that exists to repair and renovate substandard housing for the purposes of eliminating poverty housing, supporting home ownership, eliminating homelessness and revitalizing Central Indiana's urban neighborhoods. We also build new homes with a house payment usually 1/2 of what occupants were paying for rent of substandard housing. This includes taxes and insurance. Their sweat equity of working on their own home and helping others is their down payment. We offer a hand up, not a handout. We are not a charity. The Fuller Center serves the working poor, a resident population with an area median income of 25% to 50%. Compare that to "affordable housing" in Central Indiana typically provided to recipients with 75% to 120% of area average median income. They can be receiving food stamps and even be receiving disability income, but they cannot have bad credit to qualify. We build with the donation of resources, such as volunteer labor, new donated building materials and dollars. The Fuller Center uses the Bible's finance plan of no interest and no profit. We provide housing truly affordable for the working poor. Your generous tax-deductible donation will raise awareness and resources to support the Fuller Center for Housing of Central Indiana's projects and will make our mission a Central Indiana reality. We are a mission trip in your own backyard. You don't need to travel out of state or country to help those in need. Why not start where you live? The Fuller Center for Housing of Central Indiana is a 100% volunteer organization. We have no paid staff, and do not pay for office or warehouse space. Every dollar donated goes entirely to build a house. Not many non-profits can say that.
