📜 Throwback Thursday: A Look Back at Crossroads in the 1940s!

Before social media and digital fundraising campaigns, brochures helped tell the Crossroads story!

This week, we're taking a trip back to the 1940s with a look at some of our earliest brochures, highlighting the services we provided, the lives we impacted, and the importance of community support in making it all possible.

While the brochures may look a little different today, one thing hasn't changed: our commitment to empowering people with disabilities and making a lasting difference in our community.

Have a computer you’re no longer using? Give it a second life by donating it to the INDATA Depot at Easterseals Crossroads!

Your donation can help individuals with disabilities gain access to technology that supports education, employment, independent living and everyday connections.

❤️ Your donated computer can help someone:

* 🎓 Access education and online learning opportunities
* 💼 Develop new skills and explore employment opportunities
* 🏠 Live more independently using assistive technology
* 🩺 Connect with healthcare providers through telehealth
* 💬 Stay connected with family and friends
* 🌐 Access essential services, shop online and enjoy digital resources

💻 Computer Donation Requirements:

* At least 8GB of RAM
* No more than 5 years old
* Windows 11-compatible processor (Intel 8th Gen or newer, AMD Ryzen 2000 or newer)
* Minimum 256GB hard drive

A big THANK YOU to our friends at Eli Lilly and Company for volunteering their time at Easterseals Crossroads yesterday!

These dedicated volunteers rolled up their sleeves and helped us clean out and organize a couple of our storage closets, making a big difference behind the scenes!

: Building a Foundation for the Future!

In 1956, Easterseals Crossroads took a major step forward with the opening of a newly constructed two-story facility at 3242 Sutherland Avenue in Indianapolis!

This new building was more than just a change of address. It represented growth, opportunity, and a commitment to expanding services for individuals with disabilities.

With additional space, the organization was able to significantly expand its programs, including physical, occupational, speech, and hearing therapy, preschool and developmental programs, psychological and social services, vocational evaluation, and employment training.

Last night’s ES Gaming Indy Open Gaming Night and Halloween Party was a SPOOKTACULAR success! 🎃

We had an incredible evening filled with gaming, Halloween fun, and plenty of smiles!

A special THANK YOU to the Circle City Ghostbusters for joining us and helping keep our Gaming Studio ghost-free! They even managed to track down those pesky ghosts hiding in our Pac-Man arcade machine! 👻🕹️

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the evening so memorable. We love bringing our gaming community together and can’t wait to see everyone at our next Open Gaming Night in December!

Easterseals Crossroads Respite Services is excited to host a Special Teen Night Out Bowling Adventure!

Teens ages 13–17 with disabilities are invited to enjoy an evening of bowling, friendship and fun at Royal Pin Woodland Bowling!

✈️💙 Soaring for Autism: Prepare for Takeoff!

Traveling can be challenging for some children and adults with autism, but preparation can help make the experience more comfortable and familiar. Soaring for Autism gives individuals of all ages and their companions the opportunity to experience key steps of the travel process in a supportive environment.

Join the Autism Society of Indiana for this unique experience designed to help participants build confidence and become more familiar with air travel!
